Large Barn Doors—Legacy Mountain barn doors feature rustic elegance and are custom built to your dimensions. We use only the best materials and structurally design our doors to endure the rigors of everyday barn life. Doors feature rugged steel side frames for ultimate durability and kiln dried Douglas fir framing for horizontal strength. 5/8 rough sawn, stain grade T-111 face panels are attached using rust resistant, heavy duty galvanized fasteners that insure the door will retain it's strength and beauty through years of use. Doors are trimmed using 1 x 6 Western Red Cedar for a great traditional finishing touch and will accept either paint or stain.

We feature many door styles and materials to choose from and are available with windows or solid faced. The window models feature ¼" acrylic panels for safety and are enclosed in traditionally designed cedar frames that are easily removed for paint or stain. If you prefer true glass we will build the door with your "rough opening" and you can obtain vinyl framed or insulated panels locally. Be sure to order "safety glass!"

Door sizes can range up to 7 feet in width and 14 feet in height. Wider, single door dimensions are accomplished by connecting
two doors via their steel door frames with bolts to form a single sliding unit.

Doors can be designed to slide or be hinged to swing. For hinged doors that are framed in, be sure that the openings are square. It's not uncommon with such a large opening to be slightly out of square so be sure to double check the opening size at the top and bottom before ordering your doors.

Our sliding hardware package feature galvanized components for durability and include the track, trolleys, stay rollers, door stops and door handles. The rollers and track are self cleaning and doors slide with ease after years of service.
